We made it and just finished Work Day #1 is done and we are getting ready for dinner right now.
We were broken into 4 crews: Don't Worry, Single, Life/Death, and Free.
3 are working on various work projects (painting houses, painting at the mission, exterior home maintenance) while the fourth is working at a Teen Club. The group at Teen Club is doing activities for youth on the Reservation who are too old for Kids Club. I have heard nothing but positives from the youth and adults and we are making great friends from New Mexico, California, and Oklahoma.
We have been working hard at fighting dehydration and fighting those who don't think they need to drink water. A big thanks to all who donated Gatorade/Water.
I will try to update this every day during the adult leaders meeting.
